Shipping

We ship live animals Australia-wide to Australian destinations only (except Tasmania)

To ensure the health and safety of the animals, all orders containing live animals are shipped each Monday ONLY after payment has been received. We ship all orders from our north Queensland office. Delivery usually takes two to three days, but may take four days depending on your location. Shipping for most live animal orders is $18.50 Australia-wide.

If you order non-living items only, your order will be shipped on Mondays via regular post and will take 2-5 business days to arrive.

Orders containing non-living items only may be sent on other days by request through email - info@minibeastwildlife.com.au

Weekly order deadline

Orders and payment need to be received by midnight each Sunday to be included in that week's dispatch. Orders received (or payments processed) after this time will be dispatched the following week.

Western Australian Customers

Western Australian customers require an import permit. This permit will cost $30. Click the link below to register with WA Parks and Wildlife and apply for an import permit.

Western Australian Import Permit Application

A copy of the approved permit will need to be emailed to Minibeast Wildlife at info@minibeastwildlife.com.au before the order can be dispatched.

There is also a quarantine inspection fee in Western Australia to ensure that the animals in the package match the animals on the permit. This fee is around $50, and you will be sent an invoice from the WA Quarantine department after you receive the animals.

To find out if an animal is permitted into WA, please search for it on the following website (operated by the Department of Primary Industries, WA) https://www.agric.wa.gov.au/organisms

Tasmanian Customers

Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting orders for delivery to Tasmania due to the restrictions on the animals and vegetation permitted into the state. The time it takes for a parcel to travel from FNQ to Tasmania (including inspection time on arrival in Tasmania) is too long, and the welfare of the animals is our primary concern.

All animals are covered by our seven-day Minibeast Guarantee
