    Fireback Huntsman

Posted by Amanda on 9th Nov 2020

So beautiful. Ate straight away, explored his new home and is almost always sitting somewhere that we can see him (or her) Spends a little bit of time under the bark but seems to like sitting up on top of the log, up high. So lovely to look at and absolutely fascinating to see him eat!!!

zoomed off and hid as soon as i let it out, certainly speedy! checked on it in the AMs and was out and about munching on the cricket i dropped in earlier in the day - surprised it found it as the enclosure is massive so it's an active hunter! love it, thanks :)

    EXCELLENT SPIDER - VERY FAST

Posted by Oliver and Russell Young on 27th Jun 2020

We bought a Beregama Aurea (Golden huntsman) on the 29th February and we immediately loved the colours of the beautiful spider. It is now a 10.5 cm juvenile female. It loves being handled. I named the Golden huntsman Goldie. Then, you started selling the Fireback huntsman and as soon as we saw it for sale, we ordered one on the 25th June and it came 4 days later. It is EXTREMELY fast and I almost lost it but luckily, I had a clear party cup to catch the spider again. When I handle it, sometimes it just randomly threat poses and then bolts up my arm and on to my back. We named it Stripy. Hasn't eaten yet but I'm sure it will settle in and start eating soon. BEAUTIFUL SPIDER. If you want a pretty spider, GET YOURS NOW!!!

Very excited to receive my spider but beware, these spiders are lightening fast! Almost lost it trying to move it into it's new enclosure! Finally succeeded and really looking forward to seeing it grow.

    Radical

We don't get many 'exotic' looking Huntsmans down here, was stoked when I found one of these. Received in 2 days, alive and kicking. Radical service.
