Minibeast Wildlife - Ethical Captive Breeder

A perfect way to introduce youngsters to the world of bugs!

Stick insects make a great first pet. They are easy to care for, don't take up much space and are not noisy! They also don't make a lot of mess. Kids will be enthralled as they watch their insect pet shed their exoskeleton as they grow and change. The picture book "There's a Zoo in my backyard" encourages kids to get into the garden searching for bugs they might find, some of which have similar characteristics to typical zoo animals!

  • Suitable for all ages and experience levels. Great to handle!
  • Feeds on Eucalyptus leaves and much more.
  • Captive bred through our environmentally sustainable breeding program.
  • All Minibeast Wildlife animals are covered by our seven day Minibeast Guarantee and have a free downloadable Care Guide
  • Guaranteed to be mite and parasite free.

 This kit includes:

  • One juvenile female Stick Insect of your choice
  • One small pop-up enclosure
  • Misting bottle
  • There's a Zoo in My Backyard book by Minibeast Wildlife's Deanna Henderson

 You will need:

  • Access to Eucalyptus (Gum) trees, Acacia or other suitable food plants.

Love this! My son absolutely loves his pet stick bugs ?? the pop up enclosure is great quality and so is the spray bottle. We were incredibly thankful and very surprised to find a second stick insect in our order :) Will definitely have some future purchases

I was very pleased with the service I received when trying to decide which would be the best bug. My grandson was ecstatic when he opened it. Shipping was quick and the bugs were healthy . Thanks Bugs Alive.

Quick response when I asked the package had my friends son's name on it. Seve was a very happy little boy when his mini beast arrived.
