    Escape artist, sleeps all day

    Received as a healthy spider. Very skittish (as expected). Escaped from the enclosure the first night. Found it on the wall staring at me. Have noticed some behaviours that seem specific to Holconia species: - Not as shy as other species (like Heteropoda). - Fussy eaters; will only eat on their own schedule. Best to leave food in the enclosure and wait until they're ready. - Prefer to eat/hunt at night. Mine now lives in the tiniest crack in some leaf litter and seems happily at home. Will grow into a giant spider. Very excited.

    I bought this on Monday and got it only 3 days later. When I opened it, the huntsman already had moulted and its exoskeleton was in there so that was cool. It also ate a cricket when I transferred it to its new enclosure.
