Grass mantis

Adorable and stunning, healthy mantis!
I recently bought and received a juvenile female from here. She took to eating small crickets right away, and is really fun to watch and handle. I'm looking forward to see her reach full maturity. I chose this species because it does well in the slightly cooler indoor temperature down here in the Melbournian winter without additional heating. Mantises are really easy and interesting insects- I wish more people kept them as pets/hobbyists in Australia!

Beautiful Insects
The grass mantis I purchased from Minibeast Wildlife was in fantastic health, and lived to a ripe old age. They are absolutely beautiful mantids, growing up to be a large, impressive size that is easy to hold and keep an eye on. When handled correctly as adults, I find them to be incredibly relaxed and in no hurry to spring away from you.

Lovely Grass Mantids
I found that grass mantids are great to keep and they are very entertaining to watch. They are also suprisingly easy to care for and keep in great health. I love big insects too so this species suited me well!
