Green-bellied Huntsman (Typostola barbata)

Arrived safe and sound, as they always do from Minibeasts. Not as green as I was hoping but still adorable. I don't know if huntsmans get the zoomies, but this guy gets the zoomies. My food (a cricket) is on the floor? No worries, I'll just run up and down a couple of times then I'll hunt it down. Am I blending in too well in my enclosure? All good, I'll just dart around madly a bit before disappearing again like some kind of caffeinated phantom. Not sure if it will chill out when it gets bigger but it's entertaining for now.

Very good packaging and fast postage-they are fairly small so need X-small crickets at first-can already see the orange eyebrows!

My second time ordering this species after my previous huntsman from MW quickly grew into a beautiful healthy adult male. Unfortunately, this new spiderling did not eat their feeder cricket during transport, but successfully fed once transported to a new enclosure.

I acquired one of these interesting huntsman spiders around a year ago. It arrived in great health as usual (I have bought from this website before many times) and took down a large cricket immediately! Now, I have a fully grown male and he is very jumpy and fast but likes to jump down onto his prey from above.

We couldn't be happier. Our family is absolutely in love. Our spider arrived in 2 days and was jappy and healthy and im sure it wont be our last.
