Expanding Our Invertebrate Collection
Here at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we are expanding our collection of invertebrates. With a large portion of phasmids in our collection, we wanted to branch out and include other types of invertebrates. Having these snails in our collection will lead to discussions about their impressive size and role within their ecosystem. All 4 individuals arrived safely. The individual was shipped perfectly and arrived in good condition.

Rainforest Snail
My 2 snails arrived safe and sound to central NSW. Was a 4 day journey in the post but the snails were in perfect condition in their bed of sphagnum moss. I received one smaller one and one larger one. The smaller snail was out and about exploring right away but the bigger one stayed in it's shell until it got dark and disappeared under some leaf litter in it' new enclosure. I'm so happy with my snails. Thank you Minibeast :)

Alive and adorable
These little baby snails are so adorable and I can't to see them grow bigger! They love eating tomatoes and cuttlefish bone and take big naps after eating haha. Who knew snails could be great pets?
