    beautiful snails

my two snails arrived in perfect condition and have happily settled into their new home. I was so nervous about the transit but Minibeasts packed them so thoughtfully and safely. They also love the mollusc food!

These little baby snails are so adorable and I can't to see them grow bigger! They love eating tomatoes and cuttlefish bone and take big naps after eating haha. Who knew snails could be great pets?

From the start Rainforest Dash was a little shy. He was happy to feed from day one but after dinner he curled up in the dinner dish and waited until after dark to sneak around and find his spot. He gave me a little scare when one morning he was inactive and partially visible below his shell. I left him be and was rewarded later that day with a lovely new couple of millimetres of fresh shell. Now I know why he picked the cuttlefish as his bed. A week in and he already has a half centimetre of fresh shell and is becoming a little more brave. He now remains out and eating while I move around. Thank you for the opportunity to bring Rainforest Dash and Post Haste into my home.
