From the start Rainforest Dash was a little shy. He was happy to feed from day one but after dinner he curled up in the dinner dish and waited until after dark to sneak around and find his spot.
He gave me a little scare when one morning he was inactive and partially visible below his shell. I left him be and was rewarded later that day with a lovely new couple of millimetres of fresh shell. Now I know why he picked the cuttlefish as his bed.
A week in and he already has a half centimetre of fresh shell and is becoming a little more brave. He now remains out and eating while I move around.
Thank you for the opportunity to bring Rainforest Dash and Post Haste into my home.
