An overwhelming favourite, the Spiny Leaf Insect is a hardy pet, easy to keep and a fascinating addition to your home or school.

As far as insect pets go, Spiny leaf insects are a winner! They have amazing camouflage, and are able to be handled gently. These captive-bred insects mainly feed on eucalyptus leaves, and can be kept in groups or on their own. As adults, the females have short, flightless wings, and the adult males have long wings and are capable of flying short distances. Females are also able to reproduce without a male!

    My son is so happy with his spiny leaf insects. He received his 2 females 3 days after ordering them. They had lots of food in there container and have settled into their enclosure . I will reckon mini beast wildlife to anyone who would love to own these fantastic mini beasts.

    I was very excited when they arrived, three came in my package however the littlest one died after two weeks. The other male and female are going strong and I think they are adorable, my poor little fella has lost a front arm, a reminder that they are so fragile, but it doesn’t seem to hinder him. I would highly recommend them.

    Thank you. We received our Insect in the time you allocated they would arrive . They were in excellent health and now we will watch them grow into beautiful beasts. Would recommend Minibeasts to anyone.
