    Happy with my purchase

Posted by Emily Clark on 7th Nov 2023

I bought 2 leaf insects for my classroom after our previous ones had died of old age. The students were overjoyed to discover that one of the two was a pale albino coloured insect, that was identical to their much loved one that died earlier this year. Both (smores and rusty) are still going strong in a new enclosure and the class are over the moon with their new class buddies. I am curious to know what leaves the bugs were sent to me with as they seemed to enjoy that more than the eucalyptus leaves I’ve been providing them.

    Spiny Leaf Insects

We bought 2 and my Preschool children absolutely adored these. Unfortunately one of them has died - after only about 6 weeks but the other seems healthy still. It is a bit disappointing and now I'll have to explain to a group of 3 and 4 year olds what happened which is going to be tough.

"Twiggy" arrived safe and well. Leaves and environment nicely moist. Twiggy is settling in nicely and already seems to recognise me.

    Cute Babies

Posted by Gill R on 30th May 2023

Our babies arrived healthy and happy, and are adjusting well to the enclosure. We've got a variety of leaves in there for them to munch on though they haven't shown much interest yet which is a bit concerning. They enjoy swaying from side to side, exploring their surroundings and escaping every now and again. Thanks MiniBeast Wildlife for getting them to us alive and well. :-)
