Adult body length 48mm, leg-span up to 190mm

    When Goldie the Golden Huntsman first arrived in March 2020, she was a 4cm little sling and tackled down a cricket right away. They are a peach colour when juveniles. As she moulted and grew, her temperament got more relaxed and she would sit in my hand and clean her legs often. Also, she became more and more gold. I soon realised this was my first female huntsman from Minibeast, and it was a Golden huntsman! She ate wonderfully and grew to an impressive size of 15cm across! Best of all, she was a neon yellow gold colour. Sadly, she died only a few days ago but lived a year longer than a huntsman's normal lifespan - she ran around for 3 and a half years! I have already ordered another one of these and a cave huntsman and can't wait until they arrive next week!

    As soon as it arrived it at 3 small crickets! One of the best purchases I’ve made, so lively and entertaining to watch especially at night!!

    I am in love with my new little sling, I’ve had him/her for a couple of days. Absolutely adorable! Loves to hide away in his little bark hide, but as soon as food enters the enclosure, he is on it straight away! Minibeast Wildlife do a great job at raising their insects, and are always there to continue helping their customers beyond purchases

    Arrived in good health and I was very excited to have it. When I tried to free handle it, it jumped off my hand and almost escaped! Very bolty spider but settled down quickly. It took down a cricket enthusiastically.

    Amazing huntsmans, one was super bolty on arrival but settled within a couple of days and is now feedable directly with tongs.
