An overwhelming favourite, the Spiny Leaf Insect is a hardy pet, easy to keep and a fascinating addition to your home or school.

As far as insect pets go, Spiny leaf insects are a winner! They have amazing camouflage, and are able to be handled gently. These captive-bred insects mainly feed on eucalyptus leaves, and can be kept in groups or on their own. As adults, the females have short, flightless wings, and the adult males have long wings and are capable of flying short distances. Females are also able to reproduce without a male!

    I ordered a male and female spiny leaf insect and they arrived in great condition! Covid caused some delays but mini beasts wildlife were very good in providing me with information and reassuring that they will be fine. I got them about 10 minutes ago and they are already climbing and eating. Little Zig and Twig seem to be very happy. Thank you!

    Was delivered quick and was packaged securely. The two insects were healthy and moving about. We have had them in a cage for the last week and they have thrived. Would recommend
