An overwhelming favourite, the Spiny Leaf Insect is a hardy pet, easy to keep and a fascinating addition to your home or school.
As far as insect pets go, Spiny leaf insects are a winner! They have amazing camouflage, and are able to be handled gently. These captive-bred insects mainly feed on eucalyptus leaves, and can be kept in groups or on their own. As adults, the females have short, flightless wings, and the adult males have long wings and are capable of flying short distances. Females are also able to reproduce without a male!
Adult female 150mm (sold as juveniles ~30mm in body length)

Happy Spinies!
Very happy with the spiny leaf insects. They came safely packaged and had plenty of fresh guava leaves to munch on. They were happy to take my gum leaves and they love to walk around the enclosure. I would definitely buy from here again (I may be addicted). Thanks!

We bought her a little while ago and she came very well packaged!, we have experience with spiny leaf insects so it was quite a surprise when she came to our home eating guava leaves!, luckily she accepted eucalyptus as her new food and is having the time of her life with our other spiny leaf insects

I’ve had many Spiny’s in the past but this was my first time purchasing here. My new little girls came packaged safely and securely, and were happy as larry when they arrived! You can tell minibeast wildlife puts alot of care into getting these insects to you safely. Ender and Ghast are loving their new home and I hope to have them with me for a very long time!

Spiny Leaf Insect
I bought my spiny leaf insect 4 days ago, and she arrived today in perfect health (apart from a broken antenna which will regrow once she has moulted so it is nothing to worry about) and I am very happy! She is my first insect, and I have named her Amy. Soon after I placed her in the enclosure, she started eating and exploring. I also bought a large mesh enclosure from this website and I am very happy with it. It is a great size, and is perfect for her. I highly recommend buying from MiniBeastWildlife. I will be purchasing from them again. By the way, Amy says hello :)

Our son really wanted a spiny leaf insect as a pet.. so a lot of research and finding your website he got the pet of his dreams.
