An overwhelming favourite, the Spiny Leaf Insect is a hardy pet, easy to keep and a fascinating addition to your home or school.

As far as insect pets go, Spiny leaf insects are a winner! They have amazing camouflage, and are able to be handled gently. These captive-bred insects mainly feed on eucalyptus leaves, and can be kept in groups or on their own. As adults, the females have short, flightless wings, and the adult males have long wings and are capable of flying short distances. Females are also able to reproduce without a male!

    Such an awesome pet! Nice and healthy insects when we received them. Very fast postage. Have bought a make and another female since and they are just as good. My son loves looking at the and after them.

    My girls came safe and sound . One was a bit hazed from the trip but came good after a couple of days and both are delightful ! My sons amazed by them . Even had a moult it was so interesting . Easy to care for and very interesting . Thankyou

    Fantastic because you can find it quite easily, it moves a lot and sheds its skin - all very interesting and we have not even given it to our granddaughter yet.
