An overwhelming favourite, the Spiny Leaf Insect is a hardy pet, easy to keep and a fascinating addition to your home or school.
As far as insect pets go, Spiny leaf insects are a winner! They have amazing camouflage, and are able to be handled gently. These captive-bred insects mainly feed on eucalyptus leaves, and can be kept in groups or on their own. Spiny leaf Insect and enclosure
I gave this as a birthday present to a 8 year old. We were amazed the stickies were alive and thriving when they arrived all the way to Bathurst NSW. One happy child! The postage box with ‘live harmless insects’ written on it was a huge hit

Already flourishing
So pleased with my latest purchase of Spiny leaf insects. The three of them (two males and a female) are already settled in. It's great to have a group of them to watch grow up. I know my four year old niece and 8 year old nephew will look forward to when they are asked to insect-sit over the holidays.
